On the final Sunday of 2013 we lit the Christ candle on the Advent Wreath and concluded our Advent/Christmas reflections. In addition, we were happy to have Ildikó Kóber share about her recent experiences in Romania and Moldova as a part of YWAM's Discipleship Training School. Ildikó spent approximately five months in training and ministry in preparation for continuing her studies in 2014.
Ildikó also preached on the topic of building our lives on the proper foundation. She compared and contrasted the worldview that she grew up with during the Communist years with her newly found worldview as a believer in Jesus Christ.
We are delighted that Ildikó received four clear revelations from God during her time away.
- Be yourself! "If I were still pleasing people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” (Galatians, 1:10)
- Her mission field is Hungary.
- Her vision and plan for the future is to serve with the Free Methodist Church.
- She needs further biblical training.
So what's next for Ildikó? She leaves Budapest on January 8 to travel to Wiler, Switzerland where she has enrolled in the University of the Nations School of Biblical Studies. She hopes to complete a 9-month intensive training program there and then return to ministry here in Budapest in the fall.
Please be in prayer for Ildikó during the days and months ahead. You can follow along with her journey at her blog at http://growinthelord.blogspot.hu/. You can also help support her financially in this endeavor. Details are available on the blog as well.
